MONTGOMERY, Ala. (April 15, 2023) – Florida National University’s women’s tennis team was overpowered by the No.11 ranked William Carey University Crusaders. With no doubles play, FNU lost both matches on the final day of the Southern States Athletic Conference Round-Up in Montgomery, Ala.
In singles play, FNU’s Vera Hoekstra, Vanessa Simone, Nadia Abad and Paulina Jankun lost their singles matches to a stellar Crusader squad that recently jumped from 17 to 11 in the NAIA’s Coaches’ Poll.
