BABSON PARK, Fla. (August 24, 2021) – The Florida National volleyball team (0-4) were handed a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-12) loss to the Webber International Warrior (3-3) on Tuesday afternoon.
FNU could not overcome a .412 hitting percentage by WIU resulting in the 3-0 loss. The Conquistadors were led by Ariana Long, who notched both team highs in kills (12) and digs (9) while hitting .417 in the match. Both Gabriela Hernandez (18) and Maria Alejandra Liva (12) reached double-digits in assists.
FNU will return to action at the Running Eagle Classic hosted by Life (Ga.). The Conquistadors will play four matches in two days in Marietta, Georgia, beginning on Friday, August 27.
