Hialeah, Florida – November 12, 2012, This Veteran’s Day, Florida National University wishes to recognize the brave men and women of the United States military who have valiantly given of themselves so that we can continue to live in a country where freedom and democracy are a way of life and not just an unattainable ideal.
Over the years, members of the military have selflessly placed their lives in harm’s way to protect our inalienable rights.
Today, let us all take a moment to reflect on these courageous men and women, whom without their sacrifices we would not be able to enjoy our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
