Fort Lauderdale, FL- Florida National Conquistadors fall short in a tough match against NCAA DII, Nova Southeastern University ending their five game win streak. The final score was 92-116, but the Conquistadors stayed in the game the entire way. Our Conquistadors battled with Nova each and every possession, but the height of Nova was to much down the stretch for the Conquistadors. Even though the Conquistadors fell short they played a tough gritty game.
Several young men still stood out tonight no matter the score. First, senior, Chris Hall racked up a total 25 points tonight, Hall also had five assists and two steals. Another big contributor was Terrance Johnson who added 19 points, three assists and two blocks. The Conquistadors played short handed tonight but still put up a great fight.
The Conquistadors will be looking to start an
other winning streak again next week as they take on Florida Memorial University. This will be Monday, 7pm at Bucky Dent Gymnasium!
