HIALEAH, Fla. ( March 13, 2023) – Florida National University women’s basketball program had two honorees to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) End of the Year Awards. Leading scorer Natalie Larrañaga and assists leader Janelisse Marty Marrero pushed FNU to an entertaining 2022-23 season and played their way to top honors in the USCAA.
Larrañaga’s team-leading 18.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game lands her a First Team All-American selection. Marty Marrero’s 12.6 points per game earned her a Second Team nomination.
The 2022-23 USCAA Women’s Basketball Division I post-season awards were announced on Sunday during the skills contest at Virginia State.
