Boca Raton, Fla. – Lynn University fighting knights defeat the Conquistadors splitting one and one.
Game One – LU 3, FNU 5
In the Top of the 1st, G.Hay walked home to score the first run for the conquistadors. The Knights answered the run on the board in the bottom of the 3rd by an error from the conquistadors. FNU put 1 more run on in the top of the 5th and then secured their win with two more runs in the 7th bringing their total to 4 runs. The Knights would score one more but would not be enough to tie up the game.
Gabryella Hay pitched 7.0 innings giving up 7 hits.
Game Two – LU 10, FNU 0
The Conquistadors split with Lynn University. Game two Is all Lynn as they run-rule the Conquistadors 10-0 in 5 innings.
Kyra Sunga pitched 4.0 innings taking the loss and giving up 14 hits.
The Conquistador’s overall record moves to 22-11.
FNU will host the Lions of Florida Memorial University on Wednesday, April 6.
