Florida National University and Southern College collaborate on Special Lecture Series
Florida National University and Southern College recently hosted their first Special Lecture Series, Asthma Treatment & Prevention / Arterial Blood Gas Interpretation, which is part of their Quality Improvement Healthcare Education Initiative. This collaborative Special Lecture Series has been designed to bring together local and international subject content experts and clinical practitioners with frontline professionals. Over fifty healthcare professionals attended the first lecture in September.
The second Special Lecture is scheduled for Monday, October 22, 2018 with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. The lecture will be on Mechanical Ventilation, and will focus on negative and positive pressure ventilation, mechanical ventilation for premature babies, sleep apnea, and more. Professor Lammoglia, Director of the Associate and Bachelor Respiratory Therapy Programs at FNU, will be the presenter.
FNU’s President/CEO, Dr. Maria C. Regueiro stated: “We are very excited to partner with Southern College and jointly offer these educational services to Bahamian professionals!”
