Florida National University ’s Respiratory Therapy students helped raise funds for the Hemophilia
Foundation Walk which was held on Saturday, May 2 at Jungle Island. While not all students that participated in the fundraiser did the actual walk, the following students deserve special mention for their dedication and efforts: Erika Alfonso, Rossana Feliz, Lilibet Perez, Ana Rodriguez, and Milena Serrano. Their efforts and enthusiasm helped raise more than $400.00 in just one week! The week before the walk the students were busy with their end of term final exams. The FNU team was named Respiratory Therapy Florida National University and was created in solidarity with one peer whose family is affected by this disease.
