(HIALEAH, FL) – On Thursday, June 7th, 2018 at 10:30AM, Florida National University (FNU) will host the Grand Opening of the brand new Dr. Jose Regueiro Building. The state-of-the-art facility marks a new era in FNU’s history as the first major expansion of the Hialeah Campus. The addition of the building will help the university continue its mission of providing the highest quality of education and service to the community.
The Dr. Jose Regueiro Building stands at 6 stories tall and over 125K square feet, fully equipped with:
-2 Full-Service Cafeterias
-Smart Boards in every classroom
-2 Game Rooms
-20-Bed Case Study Simulation Nursing Labs
-Hotel Simulation Criminal Justice Lab
-274 Seat Capacity Auditorium
-Balcony Area with a 360 view overlooking Miami-Dade
-Library with multiple individual study rooms
The Grand Opening Ceremony is open to the public and will be a celebratory occasion in honor of the historic expansion, as well as our founder and the building’s namesake, Dr. Jose Regueiro.
