Hialeah, FL – The Lady Conquistadors Volleyball Team of Florida National University made history this week by earning the AVCA Team Academic Award. This recognition by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) marks the first time in the program’s history since its inauguration in 2015. Florida National University is one of the 540 women’s volleyball programs to receive this distinction. The AVCA awards this prestigious honor to teams that have displayed academic excellence during the school year by maintaining a minimum of 3.30 cumulative GPA.
