Hialeah Fla. – Florida National University men’s basketball team won its fifth home game of the season as the Conquistadors overcame Vermont Tech College 115-92. The contest was played on Saturday Afternoon (Dec. 28th) at Bucky Dent Gym, Hialeah, Fla. With the win Florida National improves to a 12-6 record while Vermont Tech College falls to 9-4.

- Hirotaka Ohashi recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists.
- Kenneth Santos also recorded a double-double as he noted 22 points, 13 rebounds, 1 block and 2 steals.
- Jose Benitez recorded 12 points and he also noted 8 assists and 4 rebounds.
- Jaquan Robertson came of the bench with 18 points and 4 rebounds.
