HIALEAH, Fla. (Sept. 27, 2023) – Florida National University’s soccer team continues to compete with some of the NAIA’s best, coming in at No. 14 in week four of the NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. FNU moved two spots after a 2-2 draw with the Thomas University Nighthawks on Sept. 23.
The Conquistadors (6-1-1) faced a tough battle with the now RV Nighthawks while the landscape of the Top 25 shifted drastically after one week’s worth of play. Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) rivals Georgia Gwinnett College fell five spots to No. 17 after a loss to Reinhardt University 1-0. Missouri Baptist University and Madonna University advanced from receiving votes purgatory and took over the final two spots in the ratings at 24 and 25, respectively.
FNU is back on the pitch on Sept. 27 versus the NCAA DII Palm Beach Atlantic University Sailfish in West Palm Beach at 7 p.m.
