Conquistador softball earns No. 1 seed at Small College World Series

HIALEAH, Fla. (May 10, 2023) – Conquistador softball will have an opportunity to three-peat as National Champions. Florida National University heads to the USCAA Small College World Series from May 14-18 as the No. 1 seed.

The Conquistadors enter DuBois, Pennsylvania, fresh off two conference losses at the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Softball Championship Tournament in Lawrenceville, Ga. With its NAIA postseason hopes in the rearview, FNU takes a talented young team to face some of the best USCAA teams in the nation, including Penn State Brandywine, Salem University and NCAA DII D’Youville University. 

The ten teams making the trip are:

3. Central Maine Community College
4. Salem University
5. Penn State Mont Alto
6. Penn State New Kensington
7. D’Youville University
8. Penn State Schuylkill
9. Mississippi University for Women
10. Carlow University
