With the first day of September 2011, came great news for the FNU community. The following announcement was made at 8:35pm by FNU President Maria Christina Regueiro:
“It is my pleasure to announce to our Florida National University Community the formalization of the Nursing programs under one umbrella, the Florida National University School of Nursing.
Dr. Ruben Coll has been appointed as the Division Head for the School of Nursing effective today, September 1, 2011. Dr. Coll will continue to exercise his other duties.
Dr. Coll, you have our best wishes and full support in carrying out the responsibilities and duties of this office. We are eager to collaborate and work with you, to help you execute and fulfill your new leadership role.”
This announcement was followed by numerous words of support and congratulations from the FNU faculty and staff. We are all proud of this new achievement!
