MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (August 27, 2022) – Florida National’s cross country team opened up the 2022-23 season at the St. Thomas University Bobcat Invitational.
FNU men’s team notables: Sophomore David Bellefleur shattered the previous school record in the 5K by two seconds with a time of 16:53.2 for a fourth-place finish.
FNU women’s team notables: Sophomore Mickaela Calisto finished with a time of 23:01.7 followed closely by teammate Hassell Zeledon who finished 23:11.5. They finished the meet fifteenth and sixteenth, respectively.
