MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (Aug. 23, 2022) – The Conquistadors put up an impressive and encouraging performance on the road against the St. Thomas University Bobcats before ultimately falling to the home team 3-0. St. Thomas came into this contest winning five straight matches against FNU and was ranked the top seed in the Sun Conference Preseason Poll.
Set One FNU Notables (14-25)
- FNU scored the first point of the match off an attack error by Kendall Brock
- Only committed one service error
- The Conquistadors generated eight kills in the opening set

- Came out hot to start the set and kept the game close 4-3 before the first timeout in the set.
