The Conquistadors have had a long and hard-fought season, filled with ups and downs. After all of that, they would still have an opportunity to qualify for USCAA Small Schools Nationals.
Your Lady conquistadors took the field at 10 am this past Friday, at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, VA. It was not long into the first game that the Conquistadors allowed one goal in the first half, then another in the second half of the game. The Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton College of Syracuse came out very aggressively to secure a 2-0 win over the conquistadors.
With nothing left to lose and their backs against the wall, the Conquistadors took the field for what could be their last game at FNU in game 2 of the USCAA Nationals. They certainly played like it too, coming out with a plethora of shots on goal. Despite the best efforts of the FNU team and coach, The Conquistadors, fell in the second half with a goal scored by Saint Mary of the Woods College. This lone goal would conclude their 2021 season.
The Florida National Conquistadors finish the season with a final record of 3-10. Thank you for supporting the Conquistadors this season and we look forward to your support for our other athletic teams as well!
