HIALEAH, FL – Florida National University women’s volleyball team lost 3-0 to Florida Memorial University on Thursday night, October 17th in the team’s final home match of the season as the Conquistadors honored their two seniors before the contest, Afraina Ammerlaan and Ashley Williams.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Florida Memorial University jumped out to a 1-0 lead following a 25-23 first-set victory.
- The Lions led the second set in kills and assists, taking set two, 25-14.
- The Third set was tightly-contested, going-back-and-forth. However, Florida Memorial University edged FNU, 25-22 for the 3-0 win.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- FNU record is now 12-10 on the season.
- FNU recorded its fifth home loss on the season.
- FNU registered a .126 hitting percentage, recording 49 total kills on 174 attacks with 27 errors.

Florida National University Women’s Volleyball Team will now face St. Thomas University and Florida College in a Tri-Match on Thursday, October 22nd at 3:00 and 6:00 Pm respectively. The games will take place at St. Thomas University
