Guest Blogger: Ms. Olga Garcia_Quin
My name is Olga Garcia-Quin, and I have lived in Medley, Florida since 1989. I completed high school at Miami Springs Senior High School in 1992. I graduated from Florida National University with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal which has allowed me to work with a private attorney. I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies also at Florida National University. I am currently running for the position of Town Council member for the Town of Medley. My objective is to participate and apply my experience, abilities and knowledge as it is required of a council member.
My professional experience will be beneficial to the residents as well as the Town Council. I am very grateful for the opportunities my Town has given me and I believe it’s time to give back.
As a resident and a long time member of this community, I am fully aware of the issues that we are currently facing in our town. If I am elected on November 6, 2012, as the next Town Council member, I will ensure that our VOICES are heard.
