What is a QEP?

A QEP is a Quality Enhancement Plan conducted by an institution to implement changes that lead to the improvement of student learning. Florida National University will be conducting a QEP to improve the student’s writing skills through the implementation of support services, assessment and instruction of writing skills through program core courses and the restructuring of the English Composition courses.

Why Are Writing Skills Important?

Writing is the primary basis upon which your work, your learning and your intellect will be judged in college, in the workplace and in the community. Writing skills are essential for achieving career and business goals.
