A historic season for the Lady Conquistadors Women’s Volleyball Program continues to bear riches, as three players were named USCAA D1 First Team All Americans by the American Volleyball Coaches Association: Carolina Arrias Dantas, Ines Bawedin and Camila Kahlich. Coming off their National Championship run (the first in school history,) Florida National University makes up three of the possible six slots on the First-Team.
Despite the individual accolades, Coach Carlos Huaroto-Luque knows none of this is possible without a team effort: “We congratulate Carol, Ines, Camilla and their teammates for being recognized by the AVCA. We accept this award, and I say “we” because that is how I want them to feel. We shared this entire experience together. Congratulations to them all and our University!”
