The third week of August was anything but average at Florida National University. While the final days of a Summer semester may create high-tensions, the opposite came to be true as we ended the term in celebratory fashion. On August 17th and 18th, FNU hosted two ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of our Nursing students. First, the Family Nurse Practitioners of our Master’s program took the stage in the Dr. Jose Regueiro Building Auditorium to celebrate their White Coat Ceremony. The following day, it was our Associate’s and Bachelor’s Nurses who grabbed the spotlight for their Pinning Ceremony. Both are timeless traditions in the field that represent a professional rite of passage.
