Hialeah, Fla. (Feb.15, 2018) – The Florida National University, men’s basketball team, heads out this Friday to Florida College for their final game of the season before the national tournament begins on February 26th – March 3rd. The game will take place in Conn Gymnasium; tipoff is at 4:00 pm on February 17TH. Florida National and Florida College are currently ranked #1 & #3 in the USCAA. The Conquistadors will be the favorite in this matchup and going into the national tournament. The Conquistadors are having their best season to date with 23 wins – a school record.
The Conquistadors focus will be on whether seniors Terrance Johnson and Christopher Hall can form a consistent partnership that can lead them throughout the national tournament. They both bring offensive firepower but are prone to foul trouble early in games.
The game will be a preview of what’s to come in the national tournament as they both will most likely play each other once more at the tournament in Union Town, Pennsylvania.
