Graduation is the process in which all academic requirements are verified and the institution awards a degree, diploma, or certificate to an individual who has successfully met all of the graduation requirements.

You must complete the “Graduation Application Checklist”:

To qualify for graduation, you must obtain clearance from all departments indicated. Please take this form and have a representative from each department complete their section. If you need any additional assistance, please contact the Office of Student Services and we will gladly help you!

Official Transcripts and Diploma Request

The Office of the Registrar will approve the release of any transcripts requested through the Parchment service within fifteen days (15) after receiving the request.  The Office of the Registrar will approve the release of any Diplomas requested through the Parchment service within thirty days (30) after receiving the request

The transcript fee is $15.00, though students have multiple options for shipping and handling.

Students may request a transcript on an expedited basis, prepared within three (3) working days, for $25.00 per transcript.

Expedited transcripts are only available for on-campus pickup. Please choose this option when ordering. Expedited transcripts will only be available for pickup at the Hialeah Campus, Office of the Registrar, during normal business hours.

Diplomas are $30.00 for certificates and undergraduate degrees. Diplomas for Graduate programs (Master’s Degrees, Graduate certificates, and Post-Graduate Certificates) are $50.00.

No student will receive a transcript or diploma unless they have fully satisfied all financial obligations to the university.

Commencement is the ceremony in which the institution commemorates students who have been awarded their degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Participating in the Commencement Ceremony is optional but highly encouraged as we want you to celebrate this grand moment and achievement! To participate in the commencement ceremony you must have already successfully met all of the graduation requirements.

You must complete the “Cap and Gown Request” Form

This form is located in the Office of Student Services.

To attend the commencement ceremony you must complete the Cap and Gown Request Form. If you need assistance completing this form, please contact the Office of Student Services and we will gladly help you

For further explanation on the Graduation fee, please contact the Office of Student Services or the Bursar’s Office.
We will gladly assist you and explain the fee, what it covers, when is it charged, and confirm your current balance.
