Meet Anibal Anaya…
Anibal is a proud Florida National University (FNU) Business Administration Alumnus, and author of “Familias Prestadas.” He recently visited FNU to share the great, hot off the press, news of the publication of his first book!
Familias Prestadas is a novel about a young man by the name of “Mario”, who despite being abandoned by his parents, and not having much luck in life, still believes in happiness and overcomes many challenges. Anibal expresses how he identifies with the main character in his book. Anibal is a family man, who worked, studied, and took care of his family at the same time that he passionately wrote his first novel.
During his visit to FNU he told us how he would often burn the midnight oil, writing his first book, after working all day, going to class, doing his assignments, and attending to all his obligations. His secret to success is to have dreams and goals, stay focused, be persistent, and perseverant. Anibal is firm on saying “if you follow your dreams and keep to your goals with dedication, commitment, and persistency, you can and will reach them!” Often throughout the journey of life, we may have to change the path in which we are traveling on, but never ever lose sight of, or change your goals!
Dr. Maria Cristina Regueiro, FNU President/CEO, welcomes all FNU graduates warmly with open arms, and loves to hear their stories of what they are doing now; and their accomplishments since their time as students at FNU. “It’s a true delight and pleasure to have our graduates return to visit us and their alma mater, FNU, and share their stories with us,” said Dr. Regueiro.
Anibal dedicated and signed one of his books to his Alma Mater, Florida National University. With great pride, he stated, “FNU changed my life with knowledge and renewed confidence to follow and conquer my dreams!”
