In an earlier game this season against Florida Memorial the Conquistadors rallied to take down the Lions 73-72. In this game, it was the Lions who rallied from 14 points down to take 3 point lead 64-61 with 11:48 seconds left to play. The Lions shot 14-37 from the three point line. Andre Braziel hit 4-7 threes and Travis Mitchell hit 4-6 to end with 14 and 18 points respectively. The Conquistadors regrouped led by Junior Breejae Flonnoy . The California native scored 19 points, had 3 assist, 3 steals and 4 rebounds. The Conquistadors put 6 players in double figures including Regan O’ Rourke who scored 16, Yves Goedschalk 16, John Hogan 13, Alvaro Simoza 11 and Quantavis Hall added 10 points. The Conquistadors conclude the regular season Saturday as they will be celebrating Senior Day with a game against Johnson University. The game is scheduled for tip-off at 4:00 PM. Admission is free!
