LAWRENCE, KS. (March 3, 2024) – Florida National University’s Ray Daniel Parrish and Jovan Debrito were named to the 2024 CAC Men’s Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team after spectacular performances in Lawrence, Kansas. The Conquistadors started the tournament hot with a 96-86 win over tournament-host Haskell Indian Nations University.
FNU’s hopes of a CAC title ended in the semifinals after a tough 67-60 loss to the eventual runner-up Washington Adventist University. Despite the early exit, Parrish and Debrito delivered when the lights were brightest for the Conquistadors.
Debrito posted 27 in FNU’s victory over Haskell and Parrish scored a team-high 17 points to go along with six boards and six dimes versus WAU. Debrito averaged 22.5 points per game for the Conquistadors this season and Parrish averaged a near double-double with 16.4 points and 8.5 boards per contest.
