HIALEAH, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2024) – Florida National University’s women’s basketball team (11-10) continues to stay red-hot, posting an 85-53 win over Morris College on the road. FNU had previously defeated Morris this season at home on Jan. 22, 93-42. This win improves FNU’s record in the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) to 6-1.
Kaylee Llanos posted a solid game from the bench with 15 points while Jullie Ruiz Paneto led all FNU scores with 25 points on three made threes. Starting guard Adalis Arroyo made an impact with four field goals for nine points as FNU dominated Morris in time of possession and gave up fewer turnovers than the Hornets.
MC was held to just seven points in the fourth quarter while FNU cruised to its eleventh win of the season. This win also extends FNU’s current win streak to seven.
